Website layout – where we set the look and feel of your website.

Home Page – your window to the word. An effective home page will grab the attention of the visitor and provide an easy / obvious action to guide them through your site – ultimately becoming a new customer.

Plus 2 – two pages of content. Product or service offerings, testimonials, galleries, useful information, articles...

About Us – a very important page. This is the webs version of an introduction.

Contact – All the details needed for clients to find you.

Privacy policy - Google's standards require a Privacy Policy and they are likely to rank you higher if this is included.

Site map – having a site map is another tool to help the search engines analyse your site and rank you.

E-mail – your own e-mail address at your domain. We will set up five e-mail addresses and provide you instructions on how to configure your mail client (technical support may be required from your IP).

St8mentxxx – CloudWebsites statement of your account. This will be loaded with your site and you will be provided a link. No one else can see this and it is very unlikely anyone could stumble upon it.

Bread Crumbs – displays a trail from the home page to the page being viewed (see the example below the header on this page)

News auto scroller* – Add news or information and scroll through the list at pre-set intervals. Each item is capable of carrying an individual link.

Testimonials* – support your product or service with testimonials from past clients. Auto changes each time the page is refreshed.

Photo gallery* – showcase your products, past projects... anything you like.

Articles* – publish articles to provide useful information on products, services or industry commentary.

Twitter Widget – have your twieets show on your website immediately to keep people informed.

E-mail grabber – get potential clients to subscribe to your e-mail news letter and stay in touch with then.

Sticky note – a small window that sits on top of your web page offering visitors a 'click now' option.

Add to favourites – a link on the page for visitors to add to their favourites.

Print page – allows visitors to print the content of the page without the header, sidebars and navigation panels.

Search – add a search box to search content on your site, or allow visitors to search he web via your site.

Google map – insert a map to help clients find you (we have the Google account, but are yet to use it so can't promise it will work – until it has been fully tested)

Search Engine registration – your site will be submitted to Google and Yahoo. CloudWebsites are not able to guarantee your site will be accepted as neither provider guarantees this.

Banner rotator – display banners on your site and have them appear in a random order each time the page is displayed.

Pop up – have a page 'pop-up' in a separate window. This can be set to control how often the pop-up will appear for each unique visitor.

Favicon – the little icon that appears on the address bar when your pages are visited.

Domain

Your existing – if you already own a domain name we will direct it to your new website. 

Purchase – we recommend Crazy Domains for low priced domains.

NZ$45.00 per annum – we can supply you a domain (some conditions apply).

Hosting  

Your existing host – If you already have a host we will upload your website to you host and configure appropriate settings.

Sign up – we recommend Just Hosts.

CloudWebsites – we offer one year of hosting for free (some conditions apply).

CloudWebsites – we can provide hosting for $60.00 per annum (some conditions apply). This is a good option if you require us to provide ongoing maintenance.

Additional pages – Have as many pages as you want or need. Additional pages are charged at a flat rate of $30.00 each.

E-mail – additional e-mails can be set up (depending on your host plan) at the standard maintenance rate.

Maintenance – we provide ongoing maintenance to keep your site current. This is charged at $30.00 per half hour.

Recommend a friend – for every recommendation that leads to Cloud websites building a new site we will credit your account for half an hours maintenance.

Mobile –  formatted to suit mobile browsing - Free

What we are not

Copy writers – no-one knows your business better than you. You will need to write the copy for us to place in your website.

Flash  – we don't use flash, by choice. Flash is not that hard, but takes time to create and slows down your site.

Graphic design – building a website is not the time or place to design your company brand and identity. If you don't have a logo, we can craft something simple or connect you with a selection of designers to help.

Database – websites combined with databases are extremely powerful tools. If you are looking for a fully interactive site that allows visitors to set up user profiles, log in and store information you will need to work with larger website company (and significantly larger budget).

Search Engine registration – Googles, Yahoo and the thousands of other search engines have no idea your site exists unless you tell them. We will register your website with Google and Yahoo, and recommend you register with as many others as you can - we will help out with a list of sites that you can register through.

SEO   – building a website will not get you to the top of Google. Promoting your web details on your business cards, marketing material and listing with directories will allow your customers to find you. To increase your search rankings you will need to invest considerable time, money or both.

Directory listing – we will provide you a list of directories for you to start listing your business and website.
